Big trees have big roots that support them and save them from toppling when strong winds may otherwise floor them.
Even ardent believers doubt at times. Yet if one of life’s storms started blowing in a doubting period, when push comes to shove, well rooted faith sustains and helps us stand tall.
Trees take years of growing, so does faith.
When life gets breezy we must not cast our faith aside thinking we’re not yet fully developed.
We all keep growing, maturing, changing from glory into glory. 2 Corinthians 3:18.
Remember, too, the mustard seed. Matthew 17:20.
”Those on the rocky ground are the ones who receive the word with joy when they hear it, but they have no root. They believe for a while, but in the time of testing they fall away.” Luke 8:13
